- About to AGOM 2026 !

The International Conference on Astronomy, Geology, and Optical Measurement (AGOM 2026) will be held grandly in Guangzhou, a highland of science, technology, and open innovation in southern China. This conference focuses on the cross integration of astronomical observations, geological scientific research, and advanced optical measurement technologies, aiming to build a high-level, interdisciplinary international academic exchange platform that brings together experts, scholars, researchers, engineers, and representatives from fields such as astrophysics, planetary science, geology, geochemistry, remote sensing technology, precision optical instruments, and space exploration. The conference will conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as high-precision optical measurement technology in astronomical telescopes and space observation equipment, remote sensing interpretation and evolution analysis of geological features of extraterrestrial celestial bodies (such as the Moon and Mars), spectral recognition of planetary surface material composition, navigation and imaging systems in deep space exploration missions, multi-source data fusion research on the internal structure of the Earth and planets, optical monitoring and early warning technology for geological disasters (such as earthquakes and landslides), application of LiDAR and interferometry in terrain modeling, development of new optical sensors and adaptive optics systems, astronomical site monitoring and optical environment assessment, intelligent processing and visualization of optical measurement data. Through various forms such as keynote speeches, thematic forums, paper presentations, instrument displays, and observation case analyses, we aim to promote multidimensional collaborative innovation in the field of "sky earth measurement" and enhance our scientific understanding of the universe's celestial bodies and the Earth system. AGOM 2026 emphasizes the core concept of "looking up at the stars, being down-to-earth, and accurately observing", and is committed to promoting the deep application of optical measurement technology in astronomical exploration and geological research, serving the national strategy of deep space exploration, Earth system science, and precision instrument autonomy. The high-quality papers accepted by the conference will be recommended for publication in relevant international journals indexed by SCI, EI, or Scopus, expanding the academic influence of research results.
